Stanislav and Veronika, a couple, interested in viticulture.
We have lived more than a year in Georgia, mostly near the sea, in Batumi. This year was full of various interesting projects: we took part in the cultural life of the city, organized literary soirées and created Batumi Dvor Party, a street gastronomy festival. If you ask us about travelling, well, we travelled extensively. We visited the Caucasus Mountain Range, Alazani Valley, Kakheti, Svaneti, Central Georgia and mountainous Adjara. Several times we went to Turkey, visiting mountainous regions which earlier belonged to Georgia.
Still, apart from tourism, we were driven with the gastronomy and viticulture interests. Thus we visited more than 30 private wineries, making a list of the several best ones.
Very quickly, our Georgian friends started being interested in our travelling “adventures”, so we organized several joint excursions to wineries. More and more people were recommending us to their friends who went to Georgia. We organized those trips as well. This is how the hobby became our work, which we enjoy immensely.
Now we live in Moscow and see that it is very difficult indeed to organize a fulfilling journey when a) you are very far away from your destination and b) you have only a week or two. This is why we have created personal tours in Georgia, where everything is included. When you come to Georgia, nothing will stop you from diving into rich culture of this incredible and very special country.
